Euro Towers leading the way with BS 1139:6 Certification

Euro Towers are pleased to announce our range of BS 1139:6 Certified Towers.
This standard covers towers outside the scope of EN 1004 and will allow customers to build more advanced structures, as well as take part in PASMA Advanced Courses such as Bridging, Linked Structures, Stair Access and Cantilever. The Euro Fold - Now certified to EN 1004:2020

We are happy to announce that the Euro Fold, is now certified to all of the latest standards.

This newest addition to our mobile access tower range allows our customers another option for working at height.
The Euro Fold is ideal for a variety of jobs with platform heights from 0.2m to 6m. Available in two lengths, 1.5m and 2m allowing space for 1 or 2 workers. Either open or closed, the base unit easily passes through standard doorways meaning you can move around site without any struggle.
The Euro Fold is easy to assemble and ready to use in minutes. It comes fitted with 5” castors and adjustable legs to allow for uneven ground. When dismantled the tower can fit in a small van thanks to its compact components and folding base.

Need a safe method to work at height?

That is exactly what was needed at Hampton Court in their greenhouse. While working all year keeping the worlds largest grapevine tidy and cared for, the workers found that ladders were no longer suitable. Hampton court contacted us with their need and we decided that our BS 8620 Podiums would be perfect. Not only did this allow them to work at height safely but with the use of our tool trays they could store their tools safely near to where they were working.

Euro Towers will be re-opening for production from Monday 11th May with a limited workforce; in line with current government guidelines. If you would like to place an order, we would expect to be able to dispatch this to you by the end of May. We would like to thank all our customers for your patience during this time. LATEST UPDATE FROM EURO TOWERS (COVID-19)

The welfare and safety of our employees and customers is always our priority so as a result of the latest Government advice issued on the 23/03/20 we have taken the decision to close our production from the 26th March until further notice. This is not a decision we have taken lightly, but we feel that given the scale of the Covid-19 virus we need to do this to protect our employees and our customers. Rest assured we will open for production and deliveries as soon as it is safe to do so.

Our office line will still remain open during our standard opening hours to continue supporting you on health and safety and equipment enquiries.

Following the government’s guidelines Euro Towers are doing all we can to ensure the safety of our employees, suppliers, and customers to help stop the spread of Covid-19. Where possible we have staff working remotely from home, and all staff working at our offices are keeping distance where possible. We have also increased efforts to ensure all areas are constantly disinfected and we have stopped all visitors without appointment for the time being.

With the system we have in place business is running as usual. Our office is still taking orders by phone, email, and FAX. Deliveries will still be made with our drivers following a contactless policy.

Executive Hire Show 2020 Success

Euro Towers were happy to exhibit once again at the Executive Hire Show in Coventry. This year along with all our existing products we also launch a BRAND NEW unit.

Also on display was our new BS8620 Swing Gate Podium. These new podiums have been very popular with customers as an alternative to our standard gate

Along with all the new products we also had our BS 8620 Stepfold Podium range, the Minifold unit, the 3T Ladder Frame, AGR, Euro 500, Stairwell Access and 232 narrow rung towers on display. These systems featured goalpost and walkthrough frames as well as cantilever and bridging systems. LATEST FROM PASMA - HSE prosecution after worker fractures vertebrae in fall from podium steps

Please find below some a small quote from PASMA Chairman and Euro Towers MD Roger Verallo on a incident that took place November 2017.

Commenting on this accident, PASMA's Chairman and Managing Director of Euro Towers, Roger Verallo, said "This accident emphasises the fact that you don't need to be very far off the ground to be seriously injured by a fall. As the HSE inspector noted, podiums are a safe way to work at height - but of course, only when they're used properly by trained persons. Always choose podiums that are certified to design standard BS 8620, follow the instruction manual carefully and please, send your workers on the PASMA Low Level Access training course. Accidents like this don't need to happen."

EURO TOWERS AT THE BRITISH GT

Congratulations to Steller Motorsport on their win at the GT4 Donnington Decider in Leicester. After their pole position start and a great race they managed to secure their second win of the season. Euro Towers were happy to see our logo on their Audi as it crossed the line in 1st place. We hope they continue their success and can add more trophies to their collection.

Another Successful Bespoke Project

Last month Euro Towers had the pleasure of working with Dr. David from RADCO. Maintenance access over a conveyor belt was required while also fitting within in a restricted space. The cantilever system supplied incorporated a custom ballast weight tray that could be lifted using an overhead crane. Along with the cantilever tower Euro Towers also provided onsite product familiarisation.

Dr David was very happy with Euro Towers products and services which he explains in his feedback. “I would just like to say that you have all performed excellently on this contract. Starting with your site visit, the subsequent preparation, efficient delivery of the tower models and CAD drawings for our review to the site delivery of a well fabricated, bespoke designed cantilever tower which allows dedicated access for my clients operatives within the coarse screen building. Euro Towers are a pleasure to deal with and you have been knowledgeable and professional throughout.”
